Mango Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup triple sec (orange liqueur)
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (or sugar water)
  • 2 cups ice
  • Lime wedges, for garnish
  • Salt, for rimming the glasses (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the Glasses (Optional):

  • If you like your margarita with a salted rim, run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass.
  • Dip the rims into a plate of salt to coat.

Blend the Margarita:

  • In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.

Taste and Adjust:

  • Taste the margarita and add more simple syrup or sugar water if you prefer it sweeter, or more lime juice if you like it tarter.
  • Blend again if necessary.

Serve:

  • Pour the mango margarita into the prepared glasses.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing mango margarita!
