Mango Raspberry Tart

Ingredients:

  • 1 prebaked tart shell (9 inches)
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Filling: In a saucepan, add raspberry jam and heat it over low flame until it becomes runny. Allow it to cool slightly.

  • Assemble the Tart: Arrange the sliced mangoes in a circular pattern inside the prebaked tart shell. Intersperse the fresh raspberries between the mango slices.

  • Glaze: Brush the raspberry jam gently over the fruit to give it a glossy finish.

  • Whip the Cream: In a bowl, beat heavy cream with white sugar and vanilla extract until it forms soft peaks.

  • Serve: Serve each tart slice with a dollop of whipped cream on the side.
